The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) at LIBA is a full-time / part-time doctoral programme offering studies in different fields of management and functional areas. The programme trains prospective scholars to become skilled and innovative researchers and teachers in management.
It aims at preparing students for careers as faculty members at premier academic institutions and for positions outside academics requiring advanced research and analytical capabilities.
Equivalence with Ph.D. of an Indian University
The FPM offered by LIBA Chennai is recognized as equivalent to the Ph.D. programme of an Indian University by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60%.
Admission Process
Admission is based on academic record, performance in interviews, and scores in standard qualifying exams like CAT/XAT/UGC-JRF/GRE/GMAT/LIBA Admissions Test(LAT).
Area of Specialization
Candidates can specialize in broader areas of specializations such as General Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations and Analytics.
Comprehensive Qualifying Examination (CQE)
The CQE is conducted after coursework to assess a candidate’s readiness to begin dissertation work.
Duration of the Programme
The FPM is a full-time / part-time programme with a minimum duration of four years.

Fellow Title
Successful candidates are awarded the title of “Fellow in Management” by LIBA, Chennai, recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D.
